Boreal Deer Burger

The combination of deer and goat cheese is simply exquisite!

PREP TIME : 10-15 minutes
CHILLING TIME : 15-20 minutes
READY IN : 30 minutes
MAKES : 2 servings
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY : Very Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 Canabec deer burger
  • 2 brioche buns, toasted
  • Plain or flavoured goat cheese
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) Dijon mustard
  • Frisée lettuce
  • Pickled beets

Instructions

  1. Mix the applesauce and Dijon mustard.
  2. Grill the burgers and place on top of a heated or toasted bun.
  3. Garnish with the lettuce, marinated beets and applesauce mixture.
  4. Top with thin slices of goat cheese and enjoy.
